Cartonboard manufacturers have announced price increases in Germany. Prompted by higher recovered paper prices at the start of the year, a row of GD board producers initially gave their customers notification of their plans to raise prices as from March/April. An initial announcement has also been given for a price increase for GC board. In view of unbroken brisk demand and rising prices for pulp, more manufacturers are expected to follow suit.
