Mondi Group intends to demerge Mondi Packaging South Africa (MPSA) by distributing all the shares in MPSA held by Mondi Limited to the Mondi Limited ordinary shareholders. According to Mondi Group, unbundling South African packaging business will endorse MPSA's own strategy and support its core business development. MPSA would be listed under a new name on the JSE Limited (JSE) securities exchange.in Johannesburg. The company includes Mondi’s Packaging and Industrial Paper Operations, its corrugated converting business Mondipak Corrugated, its recovered fibre collection and processing operations Mondi Recycling, Mondipak Plastics, Mondi Versapak, Mondi Plastic Containers and Mondi Merchants Paperlink.
