Most key newsprint contracts had finally been inked in Germany at the start of March. At the end of the day, buyers did not succeed in pushing prices below the €500 mark. Yet, manufacturers did not manage to implement their original target prices, either. Still, suppliers had recently become more willing to compromise after all, sources stated.
