Andrew Perkins will join Smurfit Kappa Recycling UK as commercial director as of December 2011. Martin Blood, who currently holds the position and has been with the company for more than forty years, is going to step down, but will continue to work for the company on a part time basis. Andrew Perkins joins Smurfit Kappa from Aylesford Newsprint, where he has been Head of Recycling.
Smufit Kappa Recycling UK operates depots all over the UK and supplies the Groups paper mills in Kent and Birmingham with 500,000 of recovered paper and cardboard per year.
