Palm goup of companies has received approval to acquire corrugated board producer Seyfert in full. All French and German Seyfert sites became part of Palm with effect from 1 June.
Only a few days after registering the takeover with the Federal Cartel Office, the Palm group of companies has received approval for taking over Seyfert GmbH. Seyfert became part of the Palm group with effect from 1 June this year.
Seyfert operates three corrugated board mills in Germany and three corrugated board mills, two sheet paper processing machines, and paper mill for corrugated case material in France.
Palm says the takeover strengthens its position on the German market but also sees the move as providing the means for expanding the supply of packaging on the French market.
