On the German recovered paper market, the downward price trend for the ordinary grades has continued in September. The good availability of supermarket paper and board – due to imports from neighbouring countries in combination with weak demand from the paper industry – caused prices to fall noticeably. Once again, there were significantly smaller price declines for mixed paper, where collection volumes are weak as a result of the summer holiday season....
