The new facility will be erected in the municipality of Grezzago, about 30 km north-east of Milano.

Italy's paper and packaging company Pro-Gest Group is planning to build a new corrugated sheet plant in Italy. The greenfield facility is to be erected in Grezzago in the Lombardy region, about halfway between Bergamo and Monza, at a cost of €55m. Pro-Gest puts the annual capacity of the Grezzago corrugated sheet plant at 300 million m².

The company said that construction work is set to commence in the first few months of next year. It would take about 18 months to erect the plant, complete the trial runs and enter regular production, the group told EUWID.
