Two investors are interested in resuming production of wrapping paper for the food industry at Cartiera Val Posina’s site in Italy which is currently idle. A Slc Cgil union spokesperson said that the companies Esperia and Fuggion were the potential investors. They planned to operate under the name of Progetto Carta and would present their business plan within the next two to three weeks, the spokesperson added. Cartiera Val Posina is currently facing financial difficulties. The company’s employees have been temporarily laid off at the beginning of July.
