White-collar workers of the Finnish union of salaried employees Proliitto have announced an overtime ban for their members as no agreement was reached between the union and the employer representative Finnish Forest Industries Federation until Thursday night. The union demands a 3.5% pay increase for all white-collar workers. As of April 6, Proliitto threatens to go on strike and impede production at all UPM mills in Finland.
