Supermarket paper and board prices, which fell significantly in the final quarter of 2024 before stabilising at a low level in early 2025, began to soar in March. Market players noted, though, that the year had begun on a quiet note. The market saw balanced supply and demand, largely due to higher availability resulting from material that had gone uncollected in the December period. A shortage then emerged starting in mid-February, which intensified dramatically one month later, insiders said....
