Spanish paper and packaging manufacturer Saica is acquiring Dublin-based Americk Packaging.
Subject to approval by the Irish competition authorities, the Saica Group will acquire 100 % of Americk Packaging. Consisting of six manufacturing sites in Ireland and the UK, employing approximately 700 staff, Americk Packaging achieved a turnover of £110m in 2015. The company manufactures and prints cartons, labels and flexible packaging.
