Conditions on Italy’s recovered paper market have not improved in November, and it does not look as if the year’s end will bring a turnaround. Demand is anything but brisk in Italy. Exports to Asia were able to make up for soft domestic sales in part, but buyers in these international markets were paying less. Italian prices for ordinary recovered paper grades suffered a major setback in November. Deinking grades, especially magazines, became a little cheaper, too.
