The UK’s Sheet Plant Association (SPA) has announced the appointment of Nick Mountain to its committee, taking on the newly defined role of Ambassador for Membership & Member Engagement.
Mr Mountain is Managing Director at P.H. Mountain Corrugated Ltd, a second-generation, trade-only manufacturer of corrugated packaging products based in Louth, Lincolnshire. The company specialises in the production of corrugated dividers, layer pads, and creased and slit/scored fittings.
According to the SPA, he brings not only deep sector knowledge but also a fresh, forward-thinking perspective to the committee. He is expected to play a key role in strengthening the association’s ties with existing members while helping to represent and engage the next generation of industry leaders.
The new appointment is part of SPA’s broader strategy to future-proof the organisation and ensure its ongoing relevance and value to members in a rapidly evolving market.
