Stora Enso is set to renew and step up recycled containerboard capacity at its Ostroleka mill in Poland. The company plans to build a new 455,000 tpy recycled containerboard machine and close the smaller PM 2 with an annual capacity of 85,000 t. The start-up of the new PM is scheduled for the first quarter of 2013. Stora Enso expects the €285m investment project to strengthen its market position in corrugated packaging in Central and Eastern Europe.
