Stora Enso is upgrading its newsprint machine at Sachsen Mill in Germany. The project will cost around €30m and is to improve paper quality and capacity at the Sachsen mill. Currently, the newsprint machine produces 345,000 tpy. Stora Enso expects the upgrade to increase the machine’s capacity by 30,000 t. The project is to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2012.
