Prices for hardwood pulp have been steady for months.
The world's leading eucalyptus pulp producer Suzano has informed its European customers of a price increase for bleached hardwood kraft pulp amounting to US$ 30/metric ton.
The company said that the surcharge will apply to deliveries as of 1 February. Prices for hardwood pulp on the European market have been moving sideways for months.
For northern bleached softwood kraft pulp there are already demands for January to increase the list price by US$ 40/metric ton.
