Hardwood pulp prices have been moving upwards for months. But a new price hike notification auggests they have not yet peaked.
The worldwide leading producer of eucalyptus pulp Suzano has informed its European costomers that it will increase prices again for deliveries from June. Prices for bleached hardwood kraft pulp are to rise by another $50/t, the company announces. If implemented as planned, the hike will bring the new list price to $1,350/t in June, up from $1,300.
