There were diverging price trends for the various recovered paper grades on the British market in July. Quotes for the grades used to produce packaging papers and board headed downward from the second half of the month. The price corrections for old corrugated containers (OCC) were much heftier than those for mixed paper. By contrast, the markets for medium and higher grades continued to be shaped by tight availability. Compared to the lower grades, demand here was also steadier, so prices were stable or ticked higher again....
