As a No Deal Brexit becomes a greater and greater possibility, the British Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) will host two events to help businesses to prepare for this eventuality.

The CPI announced that is had received government support to hold two Brexit Readiness Events in advance of the 31 October Brexit deadline.

The two events will focus on giving participants the latest information on the preparations to take to manage the impacts of a potential No Deal Brexit. "They will enable you to consider the risks that such an event would impose on your business and to decide what actions to take to support the continuity of your business in the coming weeks," the association writes. There will be speakers from CPI, BEIS and TLT Solicitors, as well as a panel discussion on No Deal management challenges.

The events will take place on the following dates and venues:

- Tuesday 22 October, 10 am – 1 pm, Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth;

- Thursday 24 October, 10 am – 1 pm, Bolton Whites Hotel in Bolton.

Participation is free, but places are limited, the CPI said. Please contact cpi@paper.org.uk to reserve a place.
