Things are getting back to normal at the Greenfield mill in France. After the temporary closure and the following sale of the former Arjowiggins site, the ramp-up phase is now in full swing.

The Greenfield deinked pulp mill in France, newly acquired by German company Wepa, is still in the ramp-up phase. Since the takeover in late March, production of the machine was gradually raised and is now running at 60-70% of its capacity, according to Wepa. Full capacity was expected to be reached in the fourth quarter of this year, a company spokesperson told EUWID.

The Greenfield mill has a machine for the production of deinked pulp with a capacity of 130,000-150,000 tpy. Wepa acquired the Greenfield mill from Arjowiggins in March. Arjowiggins had filed for insolvency in early January and sold the mill in this context.
