Demand for uncoated fine paper on the Italian market had shrivelled since the last price increase and ordering activity was expected to remain at this low level throughout the entire summer, a few suppliers told EUWID. Similar worries are bothering suppliers of coated woodfree paper in Italy, as well, with one subtle but key difference: many of them already had to decrease their prices in June. Most prices for coated fine paper grades fell by €10-20/t.
