ÅF finalised the acquisition of Pöyry on 22 February 2019. As one company, ÅF Pöyry will combine expertise and insights of the merging copmanies.
Furthermore ÅF informed Pöyry on February 21 2019 that it holds more than nine-tenths of the issued and outstanding shares and voting rights in Pöyry. ÅF therefore has the redemption right and obligation under Chapter 18, Section 1 of the Finnish Companies Act to redeem the shares held by the other Pöyry shareholders.
