Company says it sees business opportunities in profitable segments of the fine paper market

Fine paper producer Arctic Paper decided to launch an investment project at its Kostrzyn mill in Poland. The project is to step up the plant’s output capacity by about 10% to 315,000 tpy of woodfree uncoated paper. Completion of the €10m rebuild is planned for the first half of 2019.

The planned investment would also increase resource and operating efficiency, the company said, improving the competitiveness of its products. Arctic Paper’s Kostryn mill manufactures woodfree uncoated paper sold under its Amber brand. Arctic says the plant is the largest producer of offset paper in Poland.
