Baden Board to exit self-administration in May

Smurfit Kappa sold the Baden board mill to Livia group in June 2018.

Baden Board and Baden Packaging report good order situation.

German recycled board and packaging producer Baden Board GmbH plans to end self-administered insolvency protection proceedings this May.

The company has been operating under formal "protective shield proceedings" since 27 November 2019. On 1 February, the responsible court granted a petition submitted by Baden Board GmbH for the opening of insolvency proceeding in self-administration.

Production was currently running at full swing in both the cartonboard and packaging divisions, with full order books and invariably high demand also for grass board, EUWID was told.
