Two more suppliers have informed their customers of imminent price increases of 5-7 per cent for both coated and uncoated woodfree sheets and reels.

Burgo announced it wanted to charge more from April for European deliveries, while higher prices would immediately apply to all new overseas orders.

Lecta said the new price would be effective for deliveries from 20 April in all European markets.

As early as in February, Sappi announced price increases of 5 to 8 per cent for European and export markets.

Experts now expect that other suppliers will also come out with similar announcements.
