China relases new allocations for RCP imports

Despite the Coronavirus outbreak, Chinese authorities released the 3rd batch of licences for imports of recovered paper into China on 5 February.

The total batch covers nearly 23,000 t, the majority of which went to Wuxi Longchen.

The total volumes of recovered paper which Chinese paper companies might import now stands at 3.2 million t. Last year in February, batches released covered approximately 5.5 million t.
