De Jong builds new production and storage hall in De Lier
Dutch corrugated packaging manufacturer De Jong Packaging is expanding its production and storage capacity at its headquarters in De Lier (near The Hague).
In cooperation with the real estate development company WDP, which is acting as investor and developer in the project, the old warehouse will be demolished and a two-story building will be built in its place, providing storage and production space for new machinery. Among others, the company plans to install a 2.80 m wide BHS corrugator.
In recent months, De Jong Packaging has already pushed ahead with its growth: In addition to the acquisitions of Dutch Bangma Verpakking and British Ecorrugated, the company rented two additional storage halls with an area of 8,000 m² each near De Lier.
