DS Smith to upgrade RCCM PM at Witzenhausen mill

DS Smith plans to increase recycled containerboard capacity at its Witzenhausen mill in Germany in May next year.

In May next year, DS Smith will take downtime on its PM 1 for recycled corrugated case material in Witzenhausen, Germany. A company spokesperson confirmed that part of the machine will be rebuild to improve paper quality. In addition the machine's present output capacity of 340,000 tpy is to be increased by about 50,000 tpy.
