Prinzhorn group will invest €52m to add 240 Mio m² in production capacity for corrugated products in Hungary.
Dunapack Packaging, part of Austria's Prinzhorn group, will invest €52m in a new corrugated packaging facility in Hungary. The new plant will be build in Dunavarsány, 15 km south of Hungary's capital Budapest, according to the company.
The packaging plant would have a production capacity of 240 million m² and be one of the most advanced corrugated packaging sites in Europe, allowing for the production of complex corrugated packaging solutions such as shelf-ready packaging, Dunapack Packaging announced.
Preparatory work for the new packaging facility already started; production start-up is scheduled for summer 2021, the company said.
