Ecma and Pro Carton calling for an exclusion of carton board and packaging makers from restrictions that may be imposed on the movement of goods in response to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Players from the paper and board industry feel that keeping supply chains intact might prove to be a major challege during the Covid19-outbreak. Beside worries about capacity shortages due to long traffic jams and a possible shortage in drivers, they also fear restrictions on goods movements in response to the crisis.
