German label and packaging paper producer Feldmuehle says it will implement a temporary energy surcharge of €100/t for all of its products as of 18 October 2021 deliveries.
The surcharge is on top of the 10 per cent price increase from October announced earlier on and will remain in place until gas and energy prices levels will come down to reasonable levels, Feldmuehle says. Energy and gas costs have increased very rapidly during the past few weeks and have come to an unsustainable level.
