Feldmuehle Uetersen filing for insolvency

Feldmuehle Uetersen applied for opening provisional insolvency proceedings at the Pinneberg municipal court on 24 January.

The Feldmuehle Uetersen mill, which is located in the proximity of Hamburg, operates two paper machines to manufacture label papers, flexible packaging papers, and printing and packaging boards. The overall capacity of the mill stands at 250,000 tpy. The mill has 420 employees.

Feldmuehle Uetersen used to be part of Stora Enso, but was sold to investment company Perusa in 2015.
