Gemdoubs plans containerboard capacity expansion measures in France

Recycled containerboard capacities at Gemdoubs' mill in Novillars will increase. The company is planning investments at the existing machine.

French recycled corrugated case material producer Gemdoubs has revealed plans to modernise and expand production at its mill in Novillars in eastern France. The company told EUWID it wanted to invest in an improvement of the production process, thereby increasing capacities of the site by 10-20%.

Gemdoubs aims at reaching capacities of around 90,000 tpy by year-end, which should then increase to 100,000 tpy next year. In 2018, 85,000 t of paper were produced at the Novillars mill, according to the company.
