Strong demand for coloured letters results in higher prices in November.

Minor reductions to prices for ordinary recovered paper (RCP) grades occurred on the German market in November. Prices for higher recovered paper grades also continued on a downward path in November, while strong demand and mediocre supply resulted in higher prices for coloured letters.

According to several EUWID sources, the price cuts to ordinary recovered paper grades involved mostly prices on the upper end of the bracket, with suppliers clipping price peaks in cases where last month's price reductions were smaller than elsewhere on the market.

Demand for ordinary RCP grades is still high. Paper manufacturers reportedly started buying in advance last month in order to build inventories that would allow them to continue production without interruption into the new year.
