Despite healthy operating loads and low inventories, prices of brown recycled grades continued to weaken in June. Insiders said that only the coming weeks would tell if the price erosion has been arrested.
The industry plans to raise prices in the near term to offset the cumulative drop over the last four months and reverse the trend. As such, producers are keen to hike prices in August.
