Global Hygiène picks A.Celli to supply new tissue machine for the Charavines mill

Global Hygiène will enter jumbo tissue reel production and
integrate its converting operations in Auxonne and Vern d’Anjou.

French tissue products company plans to produce approximately 30,000 tpy of tissue paper at the former Arjowiggins site in Charavines.

Italy's machine engineering company A.Celli has been tapped by the French tissue products company Global Hygiène to deliver and install the company's first tissue paper machine at the Charavines site in France. According to A.Celli Paper, Global Hygiène opted for a turnkey project

The new tissue machine will have a web-width of 2,850 mm and run at operating speeds of 1,800 m/min. Production start-up is scheduled for early 2020.

At the Charavines mill Global Hygiène will produce approximately 30,000 tpy of tissue and supply it to its two converting facilities in Auxonne and Vern d'Anjou. The company puts the total investment cost at €20m.
