Hamburger Containerboard plans maintenance stops

Hamburger Containerboard will temporarily withdraw 40,000 t of recycled containerboard from the market due to maintenance measures.

In addition to the already announced shutdowns at plants in Pitten, Austria, and Dunaújváros, Hungary, three mills in Germany will be temporarily idled.

At the Trostberg site a new curtain coater will be installed. Spremberg will see a machine stop in conjunction with the installation of the new PM 2. There will also be a maintenance stop at the Gelsenkirchen plant.
