Hamburger to increase recycled containerboard capacity in Dunaújváros

Hamburger Containerboard will invest in the upgrade of one PM at its Dunaújváros, Hungary, mill, in order to increase recycled containerboard capacity.

Paper manufacturer Hamburger Containerboard, part of the Austrian family-owned Prinzhorn Holding, is set to increase its manufacturing capacity at the recycled containerboard mill in Dunaújváros, Hungary.

The company said that its output at the mill will increase by 30,000 tpy in the coming two years: additional capacity is to become available from 2021. Hamburger Containerboard announced that it was investing almost €45m in the project. The money would be spent on modernising one PM and upgrading automation systems and logistics at the mill.
