Indevco subsidiary Unipak Hellas takes over Pako

Greek paper and corrugated packaging company Pako is now part of the Lebanon-based multinational manufacturing and industrial consultancy services group Indevco.

Unipak Hellas SA, a subsidiary of Indevco Paper Containers (IPC) has acquired Greek paper and corrugated packaging manufacturer Pako SA. According to IPC, the deal was completed on 5 September. The value of the deal and the purchase price were not disclosed.

Pako is a vertically integrated company, operating in the recycling, paper and packaging business. The company is running three recovered paper collection and sorting facilities, and an integrated recycled containerboard and corrugated packaging facility in Greece.

 "We have an objective to pursue growth in Greece and the wider Balkans and will continue to invest across all levels of the operation to [...] serve our customers in the agricultural and industrial sectors," Fayssal Frem, president of IPC commented on the deal.
