German Jäcking Group has plans to build a new wheat starch facility at the existing plant in Hamm. The new facility will increase wheat processing capacity and double starch output.
Jäckering told EUWID that the project was still in the planning stage and the start-up of the new facility was not expected before 2020. According to the plans, the new facility will use 300,000 t to produce 140,000 t of wheat starch. The investment will amount to tens of millions euro, EUWID was told.
