JST wants to increase containerboard capacity
JST wants to increase containerboard capacity
03 May 2021 −

Julius Schulte Trebsen GmbH (JST) is currently reviewing an expansion of the paper mill that has existed since 1893 in Trebsen in eastern Germany.

A concept study reportedly outlines how the site could be secured in the long term, JST adds.

A new PM would be the biggest ever investment in the history of the family-owned company. Since the existing PM would continue to be operated, the new PM would add up to 140 new jobs in Trebsen. JST has not revealed details of the new PM.

Current capacity of the site amounts to 240,000 tpy of corrugated case material in the 120 to 280 g/m² weight ranges. The PM has a working width of 4.30 m.
