Kotkamills sells Kotkamills Imprex subsidiary

After restructuring its business, Kotkamills has now decided to sell its Kotkamills Imprex subsidiary, which produces laminating papers.

Finnish company Kotkamlils Oy has announced the divestment of its subsidiary Kotkamills Imprex to South Koean wood materials company Dongwha Enterprise with effect from 31 October. The transaction value was put at €27m.

Only recenlty, Kotkamills restructured its business, transferring its Imprex, Absorbex and Wood business lines to Kotkamills Oy's wholly owned subsidiaries Kotkamills Imprex Oy, Kotkamills Absorbex Oy and Kotkamills Wood Oy.

Kotkamills Imprex produces laminating paper products for the laminating and plywood industries. The portfolio of Kotkamills Oy also includes impregnated products, consumer boards and wasmill products. The company has two facilities in Finland and employs bout 550 people.
