Kraftliner prices in Italy remain under pressure

31 Jan 2012 −

Kraftliner prices remained under pressure in Italy as 2012 dawned. Sales prices for European brown kraftliner and white top kraftliner fell once again by up to €20/t in January. A few EUWID sources pointed out that additional price cuts of a similar amount could not be ruled out in February. Others believed that February would prove to be a transition month and expected to see a brief period of price stability before suppliers try to raise prices for all deliveries from March onwards.
