27 Nov 2017 −

Amid strong global demand and high utilisation rates manufacturers of titanium dioxide are confident they will be able to increase prices in the coming year.

Supply had improved only slightly over the last couple of months; extra volumes were still difficult to obtain, market insiders told EUWID.

Production is said to be running smoothly. The start-up of a facility in the UK which got damaged in a fire at the end of January is taking longer than expected.
