After completing construction or upgrade of seven paper machines in the middle of last year, Nine Dragons Paper confirmed that it would complete the construction of six new paper machines, which will be up an running between 2012 and 2013. The Chinese paper group said that PM 34 and PM 33 at its Tianjin and Chongqing plants will produce coated duplex board, each with a design capacity of 550.000 tpy. Four new machines at its Quanzhou and Shenyang plant will produce kraftliner and testliner with a total capacity of 1.35 million tpy. By the end of 2013, these projects will have increased the group's total output capacity to about 14 million tpy from its present level of 11.45 million tpy.
