No increase in British kraftliner prices in March

|

Pushing through higher prices for kraftliner in the UK proves tougher than expected. Prices for brown and white-top kraftliner remained unchanged in March.

A large number of producers have already announced plans to charge more for brown kraftliner as of March, but not much action has occurred on this front so far in the UK. Brown kraftliner prices have stayed stable in March. Most observers expect minor increases to come in April or May.
A similar set of circumstances is playing out on the white-top kraftliner market. Demand is said to have improved in the last two to three months. However, the market is not believed to be strong enough for white-top kraftliner prices to increase. Some EUWID sources expect prices to edge higher in April or in May at the latest.
