Production at Orient Paper has been standing still for several weeks "due to a government-mandated restriction on the supply of natural gas," the company explained.

Production at China's packaging, printing and tissue paper company Orient Paper is back online. The company announced that it had resumed production at its manufacturing facilities on 14 March.

Orient Paper had reportedly suspended production of recycled containerboard, offset printing paper and tissue at all of its production lines in late January 2018 "due to a government-mandated restriction of natural gas supply." The company originally expected the restriction to last into February and planned to perform maintentance work at its mills during the shutdown.
