Papierfabrik Koehler upgrades PM 5

Engineering company Voith has received an order from Papierfabrik August Koehler to modernise fine and specialty paper machine 5.

According to Voith, the aim is to improve competitiveness and increase flexibility. This will lead to a reduction in downtimes and demolition rates and a higher efficiency.

In addition, the paper machine will be prepared for a speed increase in a second expansion stage. Papierfabrik Koehler operates 3 PMs at its Oberkirch site. On PM 5, the company mainly produces carbonless (SD) and fine papers.
