High energy costs have prompted Italian paper manufacturers especially in the corrugated case material segment to halt production. Slowly, some mills are starting again, as is the case for Cartiere del Polesine.
Italy's recycled corrugated case material producer Cartiere del Polesine has resumed production at the company's Loreo mill after a temporary downtime. Manufacturing at the Loreo mill in Italy's province of Rovigo had been standing idle since 7 March when the company decided to suspend all activities at the site due to unprecedently high gas prices.
