Pro-Gest's Villa Lagarina containerboard and tissue mill up and running again

Pro-Gest has resumed production at the Villa Lagarina recycled containerboard and tissue mill. The machines had been down for about ten days.

Recycled containerboard and tissue production has resumed at the Villa Lagarina mill in Italy. A Pro-Gest spokesperson said that the containerboard machine had started running again on 29 February. The tissue paper machine was reporetdly restarted on 25 February.

Pro-Gest had stopped operations on 18 February due to a defect at the auxiliary equipment. Villa Lagarina operates one PM with a capacity of around 300,000 tpy of lightweight corrugated case material and a second PM for the produciton of tisse, which can produce up to 35,000 tpy. The mill is located in Rovereto in northern Italy and employes 150 people.
